Additional COVID-19 related death reported in Pasquotank County

Albemarle Regional Health Services (ARHS) received notification confirming an additional death associated with COVID-19 in a Pasquotank County resident. The individual was over the age 65 and succumbed to complications from COVID-19.

According to a press release, the most recent Pasquotank death is related to the facility outbreak at Elizabeth City Health and Rehabilitation. As of June 3, there have been 12 deaths associated with COVID-19 at that facility.

ARHS is continuing to ask the community to be mindful in practicing preventive and safety measures.
