Currituck County ECA educational scholarship opportunities noted

Those pursuing a college degree may apply for Currituck County Extension and Community Association scholarships.

NC Extension and Community Association, Inc. (ECA) offers educational scholarships to youth or adults who are pursuing a college education in North Carolina. The purpose of the scholarship is to assist students in obtaining a degree at any North Carolina college, in any field of study.

Part-time students must carry no less than six hours per semester and full-time students must carry no less than twelve hours per semester.

Currituck County is offering a $250 scholarship to Currituck County residents. The application criteria include: Activities and Honors – 25%, Connection and Involvement with Cooperative Extension Service – 25%, Financial Need – 25% and Scholarship Potential – 25%

Applications should be returned to the address below no later than July 1, 2020:
