Pound net set proposed for Alligator River bridge area

Janet Tillett Craddock of Manns Harbor proposes to set one pound net in Tyrrell County in the vicinity of the Alligator River Bridge. The set will be for finfish and will be about 111 yards with one pound. The proposed set is #PN202006.

Public comments about the proposed pound net set must be received prior to Wednesday, Oct. 14, 2020. If it is deemed necessary, the fisheries director may hold a public meeting after the comment period has ended to take additional public comment on the proposed pound net set.
