Lane closures will be in place on Mill Landing Road (NC 345) near the Wanchese Post Office on Wednesday, Nov. 18 to replace two crossline pipes.

Maintenance crews for the North Carolina Department of Transportation will close one lane of the road starting at 7:30 a.m. between Pine Acres Road and Old Schoolhouse Road. The crews will then install half of the pipes, then switch lanes.

Brief road closures may be needed for the lane switch and other issues. NCDOT advises motorists to slow down and drive with caution in the area.

The crews plan to reopen the entire road by Wednesday afternoon around 3:30 p.m., weather permitting.
