On Easter Sunday at 6:20 a.m., a sunrise service will be held at the Rodanthe Pier, located at 24251 Atlantic Dr. in Rodanthe. The service is sponsored by the Fair Haven United Methodist Church.

A beach sunrise service will be held at Ramp 34, the first ramp, north of Avon at 6:30 a.m. Sponsoring the service is St. John United Methodist Church.

And at 6:30 a.m., a sunrise service will be held at the Old Cape Hatteras Lighthouse beach in the Historic Lighthouse District in Buxton. The service is sponsored by the Hatteras Charge of the United Methodist Church, which includes Buxton and Hatteras United Methodist Churches and Little Grove United Methodist Church in Frisco.
