Viola Johnson Crowder, 71, of Columbia, died April 30, 2021 at home.

Vi was born in Tyrrell County on July 9, 1949, to the late Ralph Bryan and Esther Mae Davis Johnson. She was married to Michael “Mike” Crowder, who survives.

A graveside memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on May 8, 2021 at the family plot in Oakwood Cemetery. Vicky Woolard will officiate.

In addition to her husband surviving is a son Warren Crowder of Columbia.

The family will receive friends immediately following the service.

Arrangements are by Bryan Funeral Service, Columbia.
