Christmas in July event coming to Kill Devil Hills

The Kill Devil Hills Police Department is hosting Seas & Greetings, a free “Christmas in July” event for children and families on Friday, July 23 from 10-11 a.m. Officers and administrative staff will be sharing safety tips and tools and will be passing out popsicles.

Santa Claus will be making an appearance in a beach shirt and will be available for photos. “We weren’t able to do the stuff with Santa this year that we usually do,” said Officer Gilreath, who is helping to coordinate the event. “This is a new program we are test driving.”

Seas & Greetings will be held at Aviation Park, located at 103 Veteran’s Drive in Kill Devil Hills. For more information, contact Gilreath at 252-449-5330.
