New bicycle exhibit opens at Roanoke Island Festival Park

Roanoke Island Festival Park has invited the public to visit its latest traveling exhibit, North Carolina History on Two Wheels, open now through September 14, 2021.
This traveling exhibit highlights the early development, design and impact of bicycles in North Carolina’s history. The exhibit is free to the public and will remain open Tuesday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. through September 14 in the Ticket Sales Gallery. North Carolina History on Two Wheels is on loan from the N.C. Transportation Museum and the Museum of the Albemarle.
“We encourage guests who are not vaccinated for COVID-19 to wear a face covering,” stated an RIFP press release announcing the exhibit.
