Marvyn Jon Siders, 85, of Camden, died August 4, 2021 at Sentara Albemarle Medical Center in Elizabeth City, after a battle with leukemia. Marvyn was born in Ironton, Ohio in 1936 to the late Thelma McCrimmon Snider and Marvin B. Siders. He served in the United States Air Force.

Marvyn is preceded in death by his parents, wife Charlotte Kay (Johnson) Siders and brother Jimmy. He is survived by daughter Sabrina, grandson Sebastian, daughter-in-law Tara Siders, several nieces and a nephew, companion Elizabeth Winslow and many friends and neighbors.

The family will hold a memorial service at Twiford Funeral Home, Memorial Chapel in Elizabeth City, from 1-3 p.m. on August 7. A funeral is being planned for August 15 at Steen Funeral Home in Ashland, Ky. Burial will be at Rose Hill Burial Park in Ashland. Twiford Memorial Chapel, Elizabeth City is serving the family.  www.TwifordFH.com.
