Area residents can learn about their risk for cardiovascular disease, osteoporosis, diabetes and other conditions with screenings by Life Line Screening. Lighthouse Christian Fellowship will host this community event on October 27, 2021.  The site is located on Beacon Drive in Kitty Hawk.

Screenings can check for:

• The level of plaque buildup in arteries.
• HDL and LDL cholesterol levels.
• Diabetes risk.
• Bone density.
• Kidney and thyroid function.
