John Robert Wright Jr., 65, of Wanchese, died June 7, 2022. He was born November 16, 1956.

He was predeceased by father John Robert Wright Sr. and brothers Michael Sawyer, Ronald Sawyer, Timothy Von Wright and Danny Tyson Wright. Survivors include partner Mary Susan Etheridge (daughter Ricki Leigh and two grandchildren), mother Marian Hope Dough (Walter Allen), sister Johnna Catherine Bonet Wright and stepbrother Thomas Allen Dough (Sarah).

Funeral service and celebration of life will be held at 3 p.m. on June 15 at Twiford Colony Chapel in Manteo.
