The Dare County Board of Commissioners will meet on Thursday, August 11, 2022 at 9 a.m. in the Commissioners Meeting Room of the Dare County Administration Building, located at 954 Marshall C. Collins Dr. in Manteo.

The announced purpose of the meeting is to discuss “Airport Road bike path and take such action as may come before Board of Commissioners.”

At the August 1, 2022 meeting of the Dare County Board of Commissioners, board Vice Chairman Wally Overman asked for a special meeting to consider applying for a NCDOT feasibility study grant to study an Airport Road bike path. Overman said the meeting would offer an opportunity to have public comment around the subject.
