Roger D. Pfendler, 67, of Kill Devil Hills, died February 21, 2023 at Albemarle Hospital in Elizabeth City after a long struggle with chronic renal disease.

In keeping with his wishes, there will be no formal services. Family and neighbors gathered on Thursday at The Landing.
