It’s cold outside, but 100 children are warmer now with a new coat thanks to lineworkers and staff with Dominion Energy.

Crews in the company’s Outer Banks and Elizabeth City local offices recently collected more than 100 new coats to be distributed to school age children in Dare County and Gates County.

In Dare County, Dominion teams partnered with Dare County Health and Human Services to help identify children that need a coat during the wintertime. In Gates County, the crews partnered with the Gates County Community Partnership, which also collected coats.
