Manteo Middle School band delivers superior performances at competition

The Manteo Middle School band, under the direction of d’Andrea Hinkle, was one of more than 40 eastern North Carolina schools participating in a graded music competition at Riverside High School at Williamston March 19-21.

The MMS Braves received a Superior rating, the best score available, for performing three prepared pieces and one unrehearsed sight read selection.
