Catherine M. Mastalski, 86, Altoona, ded Wednesday at her home, surrounded by her loving family, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Rocco and Mary (Reghetti) Stellabotte. She later married Stanley Mastalski.

She is survived by her loving husband; son Randy (Becky) Kowalczyk; daughters Jackie (Rob) Rabenstein, Loreen Rosser, Mary (Tony) Miller, Autumn (Mark) Kleiner, Christina (Rich) Wyrwas and Elizabeth (Jimmy) Noye; 13 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by first husband John Kowalczyk; son Stanley; grandson Randy Jae Stitt; and brothers James and Ross Stellabotte.

Catherine was a Catholic High School and the Altoona School of Commerce graduate. She worked for Jay’s Diner, Albright’s personal care home, Sylvania, Mento’s-Family Business and Home Nursing Agency.

Friends were received Sept. 25, 2020 in the Santella Funeral Home, where a vigil for the deceased was held. A funeral Mass was celebrated Sept. 26, 2020 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 511-20th St. Altoona. Committal was at Calvary Cemetery.
