Anthony (Tony) Wayne Capps, born on July 17, 1960, passed from his earthly life on May 20, 2021. A native of Hatteras Island, he resided in Lexington, NC.

He was preceded in death by his father Nelva Lee Capps and his mother Pearl Wilson Capps.

Tony is survived by his wife Karen “Angel” Capps, son Patrick Capps, daughter Maggie Capps Howard (Andy), grandson Hunter Capps and brother Nelva Capps (Jennie).

There will be a celebration of life in Lexington, NC on June 19, 2021 and in Nags Head, NC on July 16, 2021.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Dare or Davidson County Special Olympics.
