Marilyn Austin Meads, of Elizabeth City, died May 18, 2022 at home. She was born on April 14, 1929 in Frisco.

Survivors include daughters Jeannie Meads (Ted) and Katherine Meads (Steve); grandson John Stolarczyk (Kathy); sister Verna Wall and other family.

She was predeceased by parents Julian Haywood Austin and Mary Catherine Dobson Austin, husband Thomas Ray Meads and brother Julian Haywood Austin, Jr.

Graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. on May 23 at Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice. Twiford Funeral Home is serving the family. www.TwifordFH.com
