Keith Stanley “Pappy” Swain, 56, of Wanchese, died March 22, 2019. Born in Atlantic City, NJ on May 12, 1962, he was the son of Marie Gilchrist and Donald Gary Swain.

A devoted grandfather, Keith worked as a commercial fisherman.

In addition to his parents, Keith is survived by wife Judith McFalls Swain; daughter Karrie; sons Michael and Derek; grandchildren Madison, Nicholas, Eli, Lilli and Lexi; sister Donna and husband Larry; and two nephews.

A memorial service was held March 25 at Bethany United Methodist Church with Rev. Ken Mann officiating.
