Annual ‘Report to the People’ presented in Currituck

NC Cooperative Extension in Currituck recently presented its annual “Report to the People” to Currituck County officials, including commissioners, Extension advisers, volunteers and county staff. During the event, individuals participated in brief educational activities representative of the major programs that Cooperative Extension in Currituck offers.

The activities were designed to give attendees a broader understanding of the educational and technical assistance that Extension provides to Currituck County citizens and guests.

Overall in 2018, Currituck County Cooperative Extension Staff delivered 197 educational programs and provided face-to-face education and assistance to 16,036 citizens. Currituck Extension volunteers donated 10,877 hours of service and expanded the reach of programming by over 9200 contacts.
