Augustus T. Blake

Augustus Turner Blake, 87, a resident of 120 Pungo View Road Belhaven, died at home Wednesday November 7 after a battle with cancer.

Mr. Blake was born April 28, 1931 son of Matthew Blake and Elizabeth Lilley Blake. He is survived by his two caregivers: Viola J. Hopkins and Wyatt Hopkins of the home and a sister: Aletha Fredericks of the Outer Banks. He was predeceased by his parents and a brother.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
