Brian Lee Vanderslice

Brian Lee Vanderslice, 63, of Baldwinsville, N.Y. died unexpectedly Monday, October 1 while vacationing with friends along the Cape Hatteras National Seashore in Rodanthe.

Born in Burlington, Vt. in 1955, he was the son of the late Carolyn Gage Vanderslice and Ralph Leslie Vanderslice Jr. Brian was the director of service for a business machine leasing and service company headquartered in Yonkers, N.Y.

Brian was an avid kiteboarder and kite skier and was never happier than when he was riding the wind.

Brian is survived by sister Ellen Vanderslice (Scott Parker) of Portland, Ore. and brother Nathan Vanderslice of Ossining, N.Y.

Brian will be remembered on October 13 at a gathering of his friends and family at Sylvan Beach on Oneida Lake in upstate New York.
