Ronald L. Gingell died suddenly on April 27, 2020 at his Kill Devil Hills home. Ron was 63 and just shy of his next birthday. Born in College Park, Maryland, Ron was raised in the Greenbelt, Maryland area.

He was married for 17 years to his wife Gloria, of the residence. Ron and Gloria made the Outer Banks their home 25 years ago. Always a hard worker, Ron was a valued team member at Food Lion, Coca-Cola Company and Frito-Lay, where he excelled in sales.

Ron is survived by his wife Gloria A. Gingell; sister Karen Smith of Greenbelt, Md.; step-son Jaime Jofre of New York; sister-in-law Sylvia Young of Chesapeake, Md.; a niece and nephew-in-law as well as friends.

In keeping with Ron’s directives, he will be cremated and no services are to be held. Family and friends may express their condolences via the online register at www.gallopfuneralservices.com. Gallop Funeral Services, Inc. was entrusted with arrangements.
