The Tyrrell County Board of Commissioners passed a memorial resolution on July 20 regarding the recent death of former Tyrrell County Cooperative Extension Director Frank C. Winslow.

The resolution related Winslow’s great devotion and contribution to the agricultural and historical life of the region.

Winslow’s widow Judy, who accepted the resolution, is shown with David Clegg, county manager; Tommy Everett, board chair; Nina Griswell, board vice chair; and Dorothy Spencer, Robert Thompson and Jordan Davis, commissioners.
