The Dare County Sheriff has issued the May 2020 blotter report for unincorporated Dare County.

A total of 10 felony matters are listed.

Four crimes were committed on Roanoke Island, two in Colington, two in Manns Harbor and one each in Avon and Wanchese.

May 5: Breaking and Entering Motor Vehicle. 5000 block of Old Ferry Dock Rd., Manns Harbor. Money taken.

May 6: Obtaining Property by False Pretenses. 900 block of Bernice Ave., Roanoke Island. Online scam.

May 11: Identity Theft. 100 block of Sunnyside Dr., Roanoke Island. Bank account compromised.

May 14: Breaking and Entering and Larceny. 3000 block of Mill Landing Rd., Wanchese. Household items stolen.

Larceny. 300 block of Sir Chandler Drive, Colington. Tiller stolen.

May 16: Larceny. 40000 block of Harbor Rd., Avon. Household items stolen.

May 17: Breaking and Entering and Larceny. 6000 block of 64/264 Hwy., Manns Harbor. Money taken.

May 20: Identity Theft. 100 block of Daphne Lane, Roanoke Island. Fraudulent account opened in victim’s name.

May 23: Burglary. 200 block of Mother Vineyard Road, Roanoke Island. Nothing stolen.

Identity Theft. 100 block of Lee Court, Colington. Unauthorized activity on bank account.
