Liston “Bud” Harris, III, 67, of Swan Quarter, died May 24, 2021 at his residence.

Bud was born in Beaufort County on September 4, 1953 to the late Liston Jr. and Zona Brooks Harris. He was married to the former Arlene Simpson, who survives.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on May 27 at the family plot in Soule Cemetery. Raffael Farrow Jr. and Phil Emmert will officiate.

In addition to his wife, surviving are son Christopher Scott “Chris” Harris and wife Harmony, grandchildren Mason Leach and Allie Martin;  and sister Elizabeth Ann Ross.

He was preceded in death by sister Betty Williams Everette.

The family will receive friends from 6-8p.m. on May 26 at Bryan Funeral Service, Swan Quarter.
