Dare County trash collection schedule changes for this week
In observance of Good Friday, April 19, the Dare County C&D Landfill, the Manteo and Buxton Transfer Stations, the Manteo and Buxton Recycle Yards and the Rodanthe Recycle Center will be closed.
Trash collection for this week will be as follows:
Commercial pick-up: Thursday, April 18
Residential collection:
Tuesday, April 16: Manteo, Wanchese, East Lake, Stumpy Point, Manns Harbor, Rodanthe, Waves, Salvo, and Avon
Wednesday, April 17: Kitty Hawk, Colington, Buxton, Frisco, and Hatteras
Thursday, April 18: Manteo, Wanchese, East Lake, Stumpy Point, Manns Harbor, Rodanthe, Waves, Salvo, and Avon
Friday, April 19: No trash collection
A commercial collection and residential collections for Kitty Hawk, Colington, Buxton, Frisco and Hatteras also took place Monday.
